What H Harness is
H Harness is an internal market research tool used only by its developer's team to research and plan our own mobile apps. It is not a public service and has no end users outside that team.
Google user data we access
When the Google Ads account owner signs in and grants access, H Harness uses the Google Ads API with the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope to read Keyword Planner metrics (average monthly searches,
competition level and top-of-page bid ranges) for keywords we research, and to list the Google Ads accounts the signed-in
user can access so the right account can be chosen. It does not read campaign content, billing data, contacts, email
or any other Google user data, and it never changes anything in a Google Ads account.
How we use it
Keyword metrics are used only to estimate demand and advertising cost for app ideas we evaluate internally. They are not used for advertising profiles, not sold and not shared with third parties.
Storage and security
The OAuth refresh token is stored in the operating system's secure keychain on the developer's own computer. Retrieved keyword metrics are stored as files on the same machines. Nothing is stored on servers operated for H Harness.
Retention and deletion
Keyword metrics are kept as long as the related research is useful and deleted when it is not. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; revoking immediately stops H Harness from reading any further data.
Limited use
H Harness's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
